Workplace Giving is a simple yet powerful way for employees to assist Gould League in delivering services to educate our children and communities through dollars received via regular payroll deductions.  Once established, Workplace Giving provides both Gould League and your organisation with a low cost and low maintenance way to support environmental education programs.

Making a Difference

For the Gould League, Workplace Giving means having a regular source of income to develop and deliver our vital programs and services to schools and the community throughout Australia.

Tax Benefits

Workplace Giving donations are deducted from your employees' salary before tax is applied, thus reducing taxable income. Furthermore, because donations are made pre-tax, it only costs each employee 52 cents for every dollar they pledge*. The Australian Taxation Office pays the balance.

* based on a marginal tax rate of 48.5%

The Gould League is registered as a current Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR), meaning that all Workplace Giving contributions qualify for an immediate tax deduction.  DGR status can be confirmed by visiting www.abr.business.gov.au.

Receipting

Due to the immediate tax benefit received through Workplace Giving, no additional tax deductions for employees are possible. On this basis, the Gould League is not able to issue individual receipts to employees.  Receipts, can however be provided on an annual basis upon request for all matching funds donated by your organisation.
